Coconut Grove descends from the Bold Ruler / Damascus cross, lineage proven to produce international caliber jumpers. This combination of blood produced the legendary Grand Prix jumper and sire, Napur, a multiple Grand Prix winner and Best American Horse in the 1987 World Cup Finals.

The male female lines also contain John's Joy, sire of Jet Run, individual and team Gold Medal Winner of the Pan Am Games in 1979.
