October Hill Farm occupies roughly 200 acres of sandy hills overlooking the Clear Fork of the Trinity River. A backdrop of heavily wooded river bottom, alive with deer, rabbits, coyotes, and native bird species, provides a beautiful pastoral setting for our horses. Spacious paddocks and turnouts shaded by old growth oak and bois d'arc trees, surround our centrally located barns and outbuildings. A total of 48 stalls in four barns are arranged near our large outdoor arena. | |

Main Barn: Our fifteen-stall main barn, custom-designed and built by Barnmaster, houses our show horses and our stallions with an easy, open, central work and grooming area in our breezy cross aisle. |

Red Barn: A short step away is the eleven-stall Red Barn, a converted cattle barn, providing overflow stabling for our main barn and for mare and foal care. |

White Barn: The White Barn, where our new foals come into the world, is the location of our recently renovated breeding lab and broodmare management office. Here our stallions are collected and our mares our bred. |

Special Events Barn: Just north of the arena is our twenty-stall special events barn. This building, also designed and built by Barnmaster, has two wash stalls and a lovely picnic area. October Hill Farm is host to warmblood registry approval events, whose participants have enjoyed the use of this very safe and well-constructed barn. Development of our facility is ongoing and future plans may include a free-exerciser, a free jump pen, and a small indoor arena, along with an outdoor jump field. We have over five miles of beautiful, natural wood fencing that is five feet in height on wooden posts. We believe this fencing provides the safest, as well as the most aesthetic enclosures for our horses. |
